Bill Gilles was the founder and National Director for Collegians for a Constructive Tomorrow, a student-run branch of the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow. He was succeeded by Adam Houser in 2015.
Gilles started the organization in 2001 at the University of Minnesota, his alma mater. Collegians for a Constructive Tomorrow has chapters at colleges and universities nation-wide. Students organize activities such as streaming “Climate Hustle,” a movie by Marc Morano’s ClimateDepot.com, and arrange speakers such as Dr. Roy W. Spencer.
Gilles has said that climate change is an “overblown” issue, and that governments and organizations should “let people adjust without government intervention. We don’t think global warming will be more than a degree or two over a century so we don’t think it will be difficult to adjust.”
