Gerhard Stohrer is a co-founder of the climate change denial organization the Science and Environmental Policy Project, alongside Siegfried Frederick Singer and his wife, Candace Crandall. He is also a former Department Head at the Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research.
The organization he helped found, the Science and Environmental Policy Project, has received $15,000 from the Heartland Institute, a conservative think tank, and has received $5,000 from the Claude R. Lambe Charitable Foundation, which is one of the Koch Family Foundations.
