Armstrong on Climate Change

Despite serving on the Select Committee for the Climate Crisis, Armstrong frequently votes in opposition to environmental legislation, earning him a League of Conservation Voters scorecard of 10%.

Armstrong supports the fossil fuel industry, especially natural gas by hydraulic fracturing. He has said in a video posted on his website that “America’s stronger and our enemies are weaker because of fracking,” and that, “a fracking ban will do nothing to reduce carbon emissions, in fact, it will do the opposite.”
