S. Fred Singer was a senior fellow at the Heartland Institute and published over a dozen books on climate change, such as Climate Change Reconsidered (multiple volumes) and Free Market Energy. Singer founded the climate change denial organization, the Science and Environmental Policy Project, alongside Gerhard Stohrer and Singer’s wife, Candace Crandall. Documents show that Singer had been receiving $5,000 a month from the Heartland Institute.
